Nestled in a highly desirable village in Essex is our client’s beautiful home, a 17th Century period property. The house has undergone a sympathetic restoration including a rear extension to create a charming and airy room incorporating a dining, cooking and living space.
Luxmoore & Co were chosen to build a new bespoke kitchen which would flow in this unusually shaped room. The brief was to create a family space which would also be suitable for entertaining and relaxing. Must-haves were a breakfast bar and dining table area.
This kitchen features a rustic English oak table top sitting on beautifully handcrafted table legs that compliment the architecture of the room. The client chose a quartz stone worktop in a carrara marble finish which is more durable than real marble and will withstand the wear and tear of a growing family!
The cabinets were crafted in English Ash and painted in Purbeck Stone with Farrow & Ball Moles Breath for the island, creating a two-tone kitchen and a balanced appearance appealing to the eye. A glass splashback painted in the same color as their walls finishes the look.
The appliances that our client chose were practical and functional with a slide n hide Neff oven, Fisher & Paykel French style fridge freezer, two stainless steel sinks by Franke and Gesse Oxygen taps.
Satin nickel handles and knobs from English foundry Armac Martin bring an even more luxurious feel to this gorgeous kitchen which will be a pleasure to cook, eat and entertain in.
