Founded by Tom Luxmoore, the company began life making fine furniture in English hardwoods. The guiding principles were a love for beautiful, home-grown timber and a desire to make an object as well as it is possible to make it. As the company grew, clients came to commission whole kitchens and fitted furniture made with the same care and quality.
Today, Luxmoore & Co continue to embrace the ethos of the original vision, and have grown organically to become one of the leading makers of bespoke kitchens and furniture. We have expanded our use of responsibly sourced local hardwoods, including ash, oak & chestnut and we aspire to a standard of craftsmanship that is hard to find in the market. Our furniture is built to last a lifetime.

Luxmoore & Co work closely with you and/or your architect & interior designer to realise your dream of a beautiful luxury kitchen or bespoke piece of furniture. We create draft designs in both 2D & 3D and then gradually refine your design so you can watch your dream take shape in real time before moving on to the build stage.
The furniture & kitchens we make are totally unique and as such, there are many choices to make for example, colours, materials, handles, worktops, appliances etc.. Our client services team and designers help you at each stage, providing you with colour & material samples and helping to select timber we may have been storing especially for a project like yours.
All of your choices are then transferred onto drawings to assist your builder / electrician / plumber work most efficiently and effectively towards the installation stage.
After a final survey, we create detailed fabrication drawings to ensure our furniture is made to fit your space exactly. Timber is selected by hand and kilned to reach the necessary moisture content required for furniture making. Each plank is then sized and thicknessed into component form ready for our team of experienced craftsmen & craftswomen to bring your design to life. After quality control, your furniture is sent to our in-house finishing team where they apply paint, oil or any other finish you have choosen during the design stage.
Once finishing is completed, your furniture is then reassembled for a final quality control check before it gets wrapped and ready to deliver to you.
Our client services team will oversee your project and liaise with you regarding key stages throughout the process including confirmation of your delivery and installation dates. All Luxmoore & Co installers are fully employed with us and are experienced and trained to install your new kitchen & furniture to the highest standards.
We will keep you fully informed as to the progress of the installation and will co-ordinate with the electrician & plumber for connections as well as overseeing templating and installation of your worktops.
After a quality check from our installations manager, your kitchen / furniture will be ready to hand over to you along with your warranty & guarantee documents.
