In our 25 years of making luxury handmade kitchens we have championed the use of British Hardwoods from sustainable woodland in the UK.
We have always sourced local and regional hardwoods and softwoods including Ash, Oak, Elm, Sweet Chestnut, Douglas Fir and Poplar. In many cases the timber is felled and travels under 25 miles to our workshops.
Once at the workshop we organise the milling of the trunks, then they are stacked and seasoned until ready to be kilned.
Once kilned every plank is carefully inspected and selected by our experienced team of cabinet makers to ensure only the very best quality gets to the makers bench for assembly.
We believe that we have one of the most sustainable kitchen processes available in the market place today, with the timber components such as doors, frames, worktops and drawers all being made from British Timber.
This ethos is found throughout our range of furniture from kitchens to wine cellars, dressing rooms and wardrobes, coffee tables, kitchen tables and media units.
In addition, we fully promote working alongside other British manufacturers that supply complimentary goods such as hinges, handles, cookers and extraction systems.
Making your design one of the finest & sustainable British Made kitchens in the UK.
Luxmoore & Co are making furniture of heirloom quality, harking back to the Great British manufacturing days where our quality was world renowned.
