Artisan kitchens are made to suit all types of homes, old and new. From survey to installation the team put emphasis on good use of space to bring you unique furniture that is functional, beautifully formed and built to last. The craftsmen (and craftswomen) at Luxmoore & Co have years of experience which has taught them the subtleties of crafting with wood for its strength or the beauty of its grain.
Timber for Luxmoore & Co Artisan Kitchens is sourced responsibly from local woodlands in Suffolk, typically within a 25 mile radius of our workshop. Buying local timber helps to ensure the future of this beautiful resource, encouraging good arboriculture. To the customer, real provenance can be given, even to the location of the woodland that produced their furniture, which is a rare occurrence in this day and age.
Pictured are cabinets made from rare Suffolk elm, with dovetail joints and hand-turned wooden handles. These cabinets were installed into a kitchen in Richmond, London. The dresser is made from English oak with a combination of painted and natural timber with zinc mesh panels in the lower doors and the kitchen island has a scrubbed English ash worktop, Belgian fossil stone and bronze taps, both of which were made for a home near Woodbridge, Suffolk.
